OSU RB Ezekiel Elliott charged for driving suspended: Ezekiel Elliott was born on July 22, 1995 and is currently playing running back for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Elliott went to high school in Ladue, Missouri where he starred in football, basketball and track. Elliott was the 2012 St. Louis Post-Dispatch offensive player of the year. In track he won four state championships in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 110 high hurdles and 300 hurdles. Elliott was named Missouri Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year. In 2014, Elliott became the starter and was chosen as Offensive Most Valuable Player at the 2015 Sugar Bowl and the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. Elliott was considered for the 2015 Heisman. Elliott was named the 2015 Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year and the 2015 Ameche-Dayne Running Back of the year. OSU RB Ezekiel Elliott charged for driving suspended: In late December, Elliott was involved in a car crash the Sunday before OSU left for the Fiesta Bowl with Notre Dame. Elliott was charge with driving suspended, driving without a license and failure to control. Elliott has a preliminary court appearance on January 26, 2016. Elliott will not be suspended for the Fiesta Bowl schedule for January 1, 2016. According to court records, Elliott was suspended for failure to pay a May 15, 2015 speeding ticket fine. The relevant motor vehicle accident occurred when Elliott’s vehicle hydroplaned and struck another vehicle. One of the passengers in the other vehicle suffered relatively minor injuries.
